Recently UGS announced its full year 2005 and fourth quarter 2005 earnings. This marks the company's 10th consecutive quarter of revenue growth. Total revenue for 2005 increased to US$1.15 billion or 18 percent growth over the same period a year earlier. Growth in Collaborative Product Development Management (cPDM) continued to be strong, with 2005 revenue increasing 58 percent, including acquisitions, over the same period a year earlier.

These results reflect the importance companies are now placing on innovation as the primary driver for accelerating business growth and the fact that they increasingly see product lifecycle management (PLM) as a foundation for product and process innovation on a global scale. PLM has become the key to building Global Innovation Networks that foster new ideas that companies can turn into winning products and services at a rate their competitors cannot match.

Is your company following the signs on the road to innovation? This month UGS launches an information campaign focused on helping you find the best route to becoming an innovation leader.
